Bonnie Flint

Bonnie Flint is a development and fundraising professional with over 18 years of experience in New York and South Florida.  She began her career at a Wall Street money center bank where she advanced to vice president with corporate account responsibilities.  Working with Fortune 500 companies she furthered her business development and marketing skills, while at the same time she was drawn to philanthropy and nonprofit work in her community.

Bonnie relocated to Florida when the barriers to interstate banking were disappearing and helped open a corporate banking center in the Palm Beaches, a forerunner to the current Bank of America.

In her 25-years in Florida, Bonnie has held a variety of leadership positions in the nonprofit sector, including oversight of the American Lung Association’s four-county Treasure Coast operation where she spearheaded the state’s largest asthma walk.  Later she directed a $3 million capital campaign at Habitat for Humanity in Martin County, growing the affiliate three-fold.

Bonnie has extensive experience in event management and developed several corporate sponsorship models attracting local business and national sponsors to Florida nonprofit organizations.  Recently, through her work with the Luxury Marketing Council, Bonnie’s interest in tracking trends of the affluent has provided important intelligence about what truly resonates with high-net-worth donors and philanthropists.

Her areas of expertise include capacity building, annual campaigns, direct mail, corporate sponsorships, feasibility studies, board development, marketing and public relations.

Bonnie is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, a past director of The Arts Council (Martin County), the Martin County Interagency Coalition, and Leave-a-Legacy of the Treasure Coast.

She received her BA from Brown University, Providence, RI, and received additional development training at The Center for Philanthropy at Indiana University.

A former college tennis and squash player, Bonnie lives in Sewall’s Point and can be found on the tennis courts most weekends. She is the proud mother of two grown daughters, both graduates of Vanderbilt University. Julie is a civil engineer working in West Palm Beach, and Hilary is a third year law student at the University of Florida.
