An outdoorswoman, she is an avid kayaker and enjoys, gardening, cooking and traveling. Nanette and her daughter, who is a graduate from Florida Atlantic University, live in Palm Beach Gardens.
She was most recently president of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center Foundation (Juno Beach, Florida),a non-profit sea turtle hospital responsible for all aspects of fund raising, marketing and communications. Nanette designed and successfully managed a $6 million capital campaign for construction of a new 12,000 sq. foot Loggerhead Marinelife Center campus and lead the organization through the campaign, construction and relocation to a new, greatly expanded facility.
