Palm Beach, Florida Resource development The Academy of the Palm Beaches hired Charlotte and her team to plan and execute a $4 million capital campaign. The Academy of the Palm Beaches, was founded by a group of dedicated parents in 1981. It was their desire to provide for their children the best possible foundation for life. The Academy included a Pre-primary program (age 2), a Primary program (ages 3-6), an Elementary program and a middle school through grade 8. After completion of the capital campaign, the Board of Directors of the Academy of the Palm Beaches and the Palm Beach Day School announced the decision to merge the two schools. The merger took place in 2006 and the official name is now the Palm Beach Day Academy. “The Academy of the Palm Beaches (currently Palm Beach Day Academy) needed to expand its facilities due to continuing growth. As a result, we needed a solid strategy for a successful capital campaign, and Charlotte and her team worked with our staff, board members, donors and friends to create a vibrant environment for fundraising. The $4 million capital campaign was a success, allowing us to construct a new elementary school building with classrooms, library and cafeteria and renovate an existing building for our middle school. I would highly recommend their expertise in fundraising in our community.”
